UP Mission Shakti: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said – self-supporting, safe, and strong women, the foundation of new Uttar Pradesh

Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh started the third phase of Mission Shakti for women and daughters in the state from Saturday. The third phase of Mission Shakti will be committed to protecting women by connecting them to the mainstream of employment.

 

Governor Anandiben Patel and Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Narendra Modi government started this mission along with CM Yogi Adityanath at the Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that self-supporting, secure, and strong women are the foundation of the new Uttar Pradesh. We are starting the third phase of Mission Shakti to strengthen this foundation. Its first phase was started last year in Shardiya Navratri. He said that this program is also being organized in all the district headquarters of all 75 districts of the state. They're also a program to honor 75 women power is being held.

 

He said that all of us should cooperate in making the third phase of Mission Shakti, starting from today, a success with positive participation and be a participant in building an egalitarian society. Our government is dedicated to the all-around up-gradation of the mother power of the state. With this, the third phase of the program Mission Shakti will give them more strength. The State Government of Uttar Pradesh is fully committed to the respect, protection, and empowerment of women's power.

 

Earlier, Governor Anandiben Patel honored 75 sisters from across the state who had done excellent work in their field in the first and second phases of Mission Shakti in the third phase of the Mission Shakti program at Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow. He was also honored by Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs in the Narendra Modi government. All of them did excellent work during the Corona period. These included women doctors as well as health workers, women self-help groups, women's voluntary organizations, besides women doing important work in the field of education and women's empowerment.

 

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent Rs 451 crore to the accounts of 29.68 lakh women under the Nisrit Mahila Pension Yojana at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Along with this, more than 1.73 lakh new beneficiaries were also linked to this scheme. Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Rs 30.12 crore was sent to the accounts of 1.55 lakh daughters. The state government will start Mission Shakti Cell in 59 thousand gram panchayat buildings today. During the launch of the third phase of Mission Shakti, the government deployed women to beat police officers. Under Mission Shakti, pink toilets will be constructed in 1286 police stations at a cost of Rs.84.79 crore. Special recruitment will be done for 2982 posts for women's battalions.

 

New companies will be formed on the lines of Bellini milk producer

 

The third phase of Mission Shakti is special in many ways. New companies will be established on the lines of Bellini Milk Producer Company. Milk companies will also be set up in Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Rae Bareli, Sultanpur, Amethi, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Rampur districts. A target has also been set to form one lakh, new self-help groups, by December.

 

Rising Star Fund also launched

 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Government will launch the 'Emerging Stars Fund' for export-oriented small and medium-sized companies on Saturday in Lucknow. Under this program, the identified enterprises are identified and supported in developing their growth and export strategies. This assistance is provided by both financial and advisory services in the form of equity, debt, and technical support. An alternative investment fund has been created under this program, which is named Rising Star Fund. The fund is jointly sponsored by India Exim Bank and SIDBI with a contribution of Rs 40 crore each.
