'PAK-IND final can never happen...' Shoaib Akhtar expressed regret over Pakistan's exit from Asia Cup

In the knock-out match of Asia Cup 2023, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan and knocked them out of the race for the final. Shoaib Akhtar has given a big boost after Pakistan team's exit from the Asia Cup tournament. Shoaib said that Pakistan-India final can never happen.

It is noteworthy that in the powerful match played on Thursday, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by two wickets on the last ball. Charith Asalanka led the team to victory due to his strong innings. Seeing Babar Azam's team being eliminated from the tournament, former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar expressed regret over this. He said that for the first time in Asia Cup, India-Pakistan lost the chance of final.

Shoaib Akhtar expressed grief

Apart from this, Shoaib Akhtar praised fast bowler Zaman Khan, who made his ODI debut for Pakistan. Was included in the team after Haris Rauf was injured. Zaman did not get a single wicket in the match and gave 39 runs in 6 overs. Nevertheless he impressed Akhtar with his performance.

Shoaib Akhtar said on his YouTube channel, "You have seen the match. Pakistan is out of the tournament. The match which was made in Pakistan's favor was all done by Zaman Khan. He came the day before yesterday and this boy won the Pakistan Super League. I bowled brilliantly."

There will be no India-Pakistan final

Whatever chances Pakistan had of winning the match, were all because of him. Shaheen Afridi also got some wickets, but the credit for this goes to Zaman. He bowled really well. Sri Lanka played well and deserved the final. The world will no longer get to see the India-Pakistan final match.
