A court commission may be set up to investigate the attempt to assassinate Imran Khan. It has been recommended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif himself. He has demanded the formation of a full court commission from Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandiyal.
Indeed, on the second day of the attack, Imran Khan accused Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, and Major General Faisal Naseer of plotting to kill. After this, Shehbaz Sharif recommended the formation of a full court commission comprising senior judges besides the Chief Justice to investigate the allegations against him. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he had said that he would also write an official letter in this regard.

However, it is also being said that the Prime Minister cannot demand the constitution of the commission from the Chief Justice. The authority of the court commission rests with the Chief Justice.
