A court commission may be set up to investigate the attempt to assassinate Imran Khan. It has been recommended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif himself. He has demanded the formation of a full court commission from Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandiyal.

After this, Shehbaz Sharif recommended the formation of a full court commission comprising senior judges besides the Chief Justice to investigate the allegations against him. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he had said that he would also write an official letter in this regard.

Sources have been told in media reports that the Supreme Court is waiting for an official letter in this matter. At the same time, the Chief Justice can also discuss this issue with other judges. However, it is also being said that the Prime Minister cannot demand the constitution of the commission from the Chief Justice. The authority of the court commission rests with the Chief Justice.
