Meanwhile, Elahi agreed to register an FIR under Imran's pressure, but Punjab IG Sakar resigned on this matter.

Imran's party PTI has blamed PM Shahbaz, his minister Sanaullah and Major General Faisal Naseer for the attack. PTI spokesperson Asad Umar said that all three accused already had information about the attack. All three should be removed from office. If these are not removed then the demonstrations will be intensified all over the country.
