According to the information, idols of deities have been attacked in Shri Mari Mata temple in the Korangi area of ​​Karachi on Wednesday.

Especially in the Korangi area where police have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident. Six to eight people attacked the temple

 

Sanjeev, a Hindu resident of the area, told the newspaper that six to eight men on motorcycles came to the area and attacked the temple. He said, “We do not know who attacked and why. Sanjeev said that he has then lodged a case with the police. While Korangi SHO Farooq Sanjrani confirmed that five to six unidentified suspects entered the temple and ransacked the temple. Taxes fled.

 

Hindu temples are often targeted

 

Let us tell you that temples of the minority Hindu population in Pakistan are often the target of mob violence. In October last year too, a historic temple situated on the banks of the Indus river at Kotri was allegedly desecrated by unidentified persons. The police swung into action soon after the news of the incident went viral on social media.

In August last year too, a Hindu temple was vandalized allegedly by dozens of people in Bhong town. According to the information, he had opposed the local court granting bail to an eight-year-old Hindu boy who allegedly urinated in a local madrassa. According to the newspaper, after the court's decision, a mob of youths ransacked the Shri Ganesh Hindu temple in the city.

 

More than 9 million Hindus in Pakistan

 

According to official estimates, 7.5 million Hindus are living in Pakistan. However, according to the people there, more than 9 million Hindus are living in Pakistan.
