Record 72 people died

Earlier on Monday, there was some decrease in the number of new patients, but a record 72 people died due to infection. This is the maximum depth in a day in the second wave of Corona. 13,685 infected were found in the state on Monday. A day earlier on Sunday, 15,353 patients were found.

 

3892 infected found in Lucknow

At the same time, 3892 infected were found in Lucknow. 4444 were found infected on Sunday. Apart from this, 1417 patients were found in Varanasi, 1295 in Prayagraj, 716 in Kanpur Nagar, 474 in Gorakhpur, 336 in Meerut, 267 in Jhansi, 239 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 230 in Ballia. On Sunday, 1.93 lakh samples were tested, while on Saturday 2,03,780 samples were tested.
