Today, the Muslim side can file a petition in the Allahabad High Court in the matter related to the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid of Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Preparations have been made to file a petition on behalf of the Intezamia Committee of Shahi Jama Masjid. In this petition, the order of the survey will be canceled and a demand will be made to stop the process till the final decision is taken.
This petition will be filed by the Muslim side based on the Supreme Court's instructions. The officials of the Masjid Committee have already taken legal opinion from the lawyers of Allahabad High Court in this regard. Preparations have also been made to present all the important evidence and facts in the petition filed by the Masjid Committee. However, a caveat has already been filed in the court by the Hindu side regarding this.
The Muslim side can file a petition today.
The Supreme Court had recently ordered that if a petition is filed by the Muslim side in this matter, it should be listed for hearing in the High Court within three days. In the petition of the Muslim side, it will be argued that there were many technical errors in the survey order of the Chandausi District Court. The survey order was issued arbitrarily and in a hurry without taking any objection from the Muslim side and without hearing its side.
Along with this, questions can also be raised by the Muslim side regarding the date and time of the survey. On the other hand, the Hindu side has already filed a caveat in the court, so the court will not pass any order without hearing the Hindu side.
The Hindu side has claimed that the Shahi Jama Masjid of Sambhal is a Harihar temple. While hearing this matter, the local court had ordered a survey on November 19. After which the survey process was started in the evening of the same day. On November 20, the next day of the survey order, assembly by-elections were to be held on 9 seats in UP.
