Pinarayi Vijayan sworn in as Chief Minister of Kerala; Left government formed for the second consecutive time in the state

Today, the Left government was formed once again in Kerala. Pinarayi Vijayan was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Kerala. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath. The oath ceremony took place at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram with the Covid Protocol. The opposition did not attend the ceremony because of the Congress-led UDF Corona. The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed the government to attend a limited number of people in the event because of the epidemic.

Let us know that Pinarayi Vijayan has become the Chief Minister of Kerala for the second consecutive time. The New Left Democratic Front (LDF) government had registered a major victory. The LDF won 99 seats out of 140.

Pinarayi Vijayan's cabinet, which forms the government for the second time in Kerala, will have 21 ministers. Given the Corona situation, a limited number of people were invited to the swearing-in of the new Left Front government. The Chief Minister will decide the portfolios of the ministers. The LDF's largest partner CPI-M will have 12 ministers, while the second-largest party will have four members of the CPI, one each from Kerala Congress (M), Janata Dal (S), and NCP.

These people were included in Pinarayi's cabinet

Except for the Chief Minister in the new cabinet, only the JDS leader K.K. Krishnanakutty and NCP leader AK Sasindran. CPI and CPI, the key partners in the ruling coalition, have decided not to retain any ministers of the previous government this time.

Among those who became ministers for the first time were DYFI national president and Vijayan's son-in-law PA Mohammad Rias, CPI's acting state secretary A Vijayaraghavan's wife R Bindu (both CPI), GR Anil, Chinchu Rani, and P Prasad (all CPI) and Ahmed Devarakovil (INL).
