I am very happy that 80 percent of the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana are women.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the New Urban India Conclave that I am also happy that in the 75,000 houses being given today under the PM Awas Yojana in the country, more than 80 percent of the houses are owned by women or Then they are joint owners. This is true respect for women. Since 2014, our government has approved the construction of more than 1 crore 13 lakh houses in cities under PM Awas Yojana. Out of this, more than 50 lakh houses have been built and handed over to the poor.

We have some dignitaries saying what Modi did. Today, for the first time, I want to tell such a thing, after which the big opponents, who spend their energy day and night in opposing us, will break after listening to my speech here. My friends, who lived in a slum, did not have a pucca roof, such three crore families have got the opportunity to become millionaires. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, about 3 crore houses have been built in the country, you can guess the cost of them. These people have become millionaires.

India's 75 years of foreign policy had many turning points but Atal Ji gave it a new direction. When former Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government had put forward the idea of connecting the metropolitan cities of the country, so some people were not sure, it could happen.
