On Sunday, a big action was taken against Javed Mohammad, the mastermind of the ruckus in Atala in Prayagraj on Friday. Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) destroyed his luxurious house at JK Ashiana in Kareli by using a bulldozer. The demolition process, which started around noon, lasted for four hours. During this, along with a heavy police force, PAC personnel were also stationed on the spot. Javed was arrested a day earlier along with 67 other accused and sent to jail. It was only after the ruckus in Atala on Friday that the officers had said that strict action would be taken against the miscreants and conspirators. A day earlier, the employees of PDA, Municipal Corporation, and Revenue Department had done an investigation on the spot and also made a list to take action on illegal construction. Since then, it was believed that bulldozers can run on illegally built houses, shops, and other establishments of the accused.
A large number of the police force and PAC personnel were gathered outside the Kareli police station at around 11 am on Sunday. After some time the team of Police, PAC, PDA, and Municipal Corporation reached the locality located in JK Ashiana, where the luxurious two-story house of accused Javed was located.
The officers were accompanied by two JCBs and a Pokeland machine. Before starting the demolition process, the women present in the house were asked to vacate the house and they protested. The officers asked them to take out the goods giving them one hour.
After the end of the moratorium, the demolition process started with a bulldozer and Pokeland machine at around 12.15 pm. First, the main door and boundary wall on the ground floor was demolished and then one by one the other parts of the house were demolished. After the operation went on for about three hours, the house was grounded. After this, the officers and police teams returned.
The officer said permission was not taken
PDA officers say that the house was constructed illegally.
No permission was taken from the authority before construction on the ground floor and first floor.
It is claimed that a show-cause notice was issued to the building owner in this regard on May 10 itself.
In the notice, the date of hearing was fixed as May 24, but neither the owner of the building appeared nor any records were made available.
On May 25, the building demolition order was issued and a copy of it was pasted on the house and the order was executed.
It was also directed in the order that by June 9, 2002, demolish the building itself and inform the authority.
The demolition order was issued on June 10 only on the violation of the instructions.
In which order was given to vacate the house by 11 am while fixing the date on June 12. It was only after this that this action took place.

Experts say that in the action taken on Sunday, mastermind Javed suffered an injury of more than one crore. His luxurious two-story house was built in an area of about 1500 square feet. JK Ashiana is counted among those localities of Kareli, where land prices are very high.
