75 Vande Bharat trains will connect every corner of the country on the completion of 75 weeks of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this on the 75th Independence Day. After the announcement of PM Modi, Railways is fully prepared to implement this plan. Many types of facilities are being provided by the Indian Railways in these trains. Railways have added additional features including four emergency windows for easy evacuation of passengers in case of emergency in the train.
A Centralized Coach Monitoring System has also been introduced for climate control and monitoring of all electrical and vital systems on the sets, a statement issued by Northern Railway said on Friday. For the convenience of the passengers, four emergency lights have also been installed in each coach of the trains, which can be used in case of emergency. Railways said that emergency lights can be used in normal lighting that is not available during the disaster. For this, the number of emergency buttons has also been increased to four.
Trains will be equipped with modern facilities
The underframe equipment designed to protect trains and passengers during rains has been upgraded. With this system ready, there will be no damage to the trains due to rain and floodwater. The new trains will also be equipped with Fire Survival Cable indoor circuit, besides the availability of ventilation in case of power cut in AC bogies along with a rooftop purified air system.
