Rahul wrote that the country is immersed in the pit of despair, these are your words, are you not Prime Minister? The more noise you used to make at that time, the more 'silent' you are today seeing the depreciation of the rupee.

Many Congress leaders became active on social media

Congress leaders have taken to social media to accuse the ruling BJP of double standards, before 2014, Narendra Modi and other saffron party leaders criticized the UPA government over the depreciating rupee. Now, Congress is returning the favor. Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala said the government was losing all its credibility due to its inability to stop the rupee's fall. Surjewala tweeted, "Now the rupee has crossed the age of guiding board. How far will it fall? How much more will the credibility of the government fall? Wah Modi Ji."
