The Congress party has become an attacker of the Modi government after the rupee reached a historic low of 80 points against the US dollar in the country. Many Congress leaders including Rahul have started besieging Prime Minister Modi. Some leaders have even told PM Modi harmful to the country. At the same time, some reminded PM Modi of his old speech when he was attacking then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a series of ways over the falling value of the rupee.

The noise you used to make at that time is as silent today: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has made a tweet attacking Prime Minister Modi. In this tweet, Rahul has reminded the old speeches of PM Modi. Rahul wrote that the country is immersed in the pit of despair, these are your words, are you not Prime Minister? The more noise you used to make at that time, the more 'silent' you are today seeing the depreciation of the rupee.

Many Congress leaders became active on social media

Congress leaders have taken to social media to accuse the ruling BJP of double standards, before 2014, Narendra Modi and other saffron party leaders criticized the UPA government over the depreciating rupee. Now, Congress is returning the favor. Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala said the government was losing all its credibility due to its inability to stop the rupee's fall. Surjewala tweeted, "Now the rupee has crossed the age of guiding board. How far will it fall? How much more will the credibility of the government fall? Wah Modi Ji." Let us tell you that the Margdarshak Mandal is a group of mentors comprising BJP veterans.
