A six-hour nationwide 'Rail Roko' agitation by farmers' organizations is continuing, demanding the removal of Union Minister of State (MoS) Ajay Mishra Teni from the Union Cabinet. This movement of farmers' organizations will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday. Railway CPRO has said that 30 places in the Northern Railway zone have been affected due to the agitation. At the same time, the Lucknow Police has warned that the police will take action against those who took part in the 'Rail Roko Andolan' of the farmers' organization. His son Ashish Mishra Teni has been arrested in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.

It has been said on behalf of the farmers' organizations that the rail roko will remain peaceful without damaging the railway property.

 

Joint Kisan Morcha Coordination Committee member Balbir Rajewal told that Ajay Mishra and his son, Ashish Mishra are the main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri murder case. If strict action is not taken against them, the trains will be stopped. The Morcha said that he promoted hatred, enmity, and communal enmity between Hindus and Sikhs in his speeches. Their vehicles were used to crush peaceful protesters.

 

Let us inform you that a total of eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. The United Kisan Morcha had alleged that Ashish Mishra, son of MoS Teni, shot one farmer while the others were crushed by his vehicles. Teni, however, denied the allegations, saying that his son was not present at the scene. Ashish repeated the same and denied the allegations of SKM. So far three people including Ashish Mishra have been arrested in the case.
