Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Tikait had said on Saturday that the fight would continue till a law on minimum support price for farmers' produce is enacted. Central Agricultural Laws were withdrawn
Significantly, on November 19 last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that a necessary bill would be brought in the winter session of Parliament to repeal the central agricultural laws. On the first day of the winter session, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha passed a bill to repeal the Agriculture Act. President Ram Nath Kovind also gave his assent to the bill completing the process of the repeal of three agricultural laws.
