So at the same time, during the promotion of the film, Ranbir Kapoor made a shocking disclosure about his uncle and Kareena Kapoor's father Randhir Kapoor. Ranbir told that his uncle Randhir is in the early stage of serious illness like dementia. Now Randhir Kapoor has given his side on this.

 

Ranbir Kapoor had told in an interview that after watching Sharmaji Namkeen, his uncle Randhir Kapoor asked 'Where is Mr. Call him'. Along with this, Ranbir had told that Randhir Kapoor is in the early stage of a serious disease like dementia, so he often forgets things.

 

In a conversation with ETimes, Randhir Kapoor rejected Ranbir's statement outright. The actor told that he is completely healthy and he does not have any disease like dementia. When asked why Ranbir said this again, Randhir Kapoor replied, 'I don't know, he says anything, he is free to say anything.'

 

When asked where is Rishi Kapoor after watching 'Sharmaji Namkeen' and asked him to call... he replied, I never said anything like that, I am fine. I have just returned from Goa with Rahul Rawail.
