This time only 24 thousand people will be able to participate in the Republic Day parade, which is going to be held amid the threat of Corona's new variant Omicron. News agency PTI has claimed this quoting defense sources. Whereas last year, 25,000 people were allowed to participate in the Republic Day parade. Whereas, 1.25 people were allowed to participate in the parade held before the Corona epidemic in 2020.

There is a tradition of inviting foreign guests to the program organized on the occasion of Republic Day. However, this time because of the Corona epidemic, no foreign guests will be involved in it. No foreign leader had participated in the parade held last year as well. Sources said that this time the plan was to invite leaders of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan.

 

 

The invitation will be sent to 19 thousand people

Defense sources say that this time 24 thousand people are allowed to participate in the parade, in which invitations will be sent to 19 thousand people. At the same time, the remaining five thousand will be the general public, who can join the parade by buying tickets.
