New Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (CM Arvind Kejriwal) is constantly stressing that despite the Corona Positive report, you do not need to run to the hospital. You can treat yourself by staying at home. Now the same thing, Delhi Health Minister Satendra Jain (Health Minister Satendra Jain) has started repeating in a slightly different way. He says that patients who do not have corona positive symptoms or are showing minor symptoms, do not need to come to the hospital. Hospitals need to visit only those patients, whose corona report is positive and in the Respiratory Rate Moderate or Severe category.

Delhi Health Minister Satinder Jain has also told a formula to know the respiratory rate, through which you can find out which category your health falls in. Health Minister Satendra Jain has said that those whose respiratory rate is more than 15 in a minute, they all fall in the moderate category. Similarly, patients whose respiratory rate is more than 30 per minute, all fall under the category of severe or severe. Only patients of Moderate or Severe category need to come to the hospital for treatment. Patients with no symptoms or mild symptoms, whose respiratory rate is less than 15, do not need to come to the hospital. Be that home quarantine.

How to know your respiratory rate

The big question here is that now how can you find your respiratory rate i.e. respiratory rate while staying at home. According to Dr. Tarun Sahani, senior physician of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, there are many such devices coming to the market at present time, with the help of which you can find the respiratory rate (respiratory rate) as well as the oxygen label and pulse rate. . The price of these machines is also not very high. Dr. Sahani said that another easy way to find out the respiratory rate is to take stop watch and see how many times you are breathing in a minute. The number of times you breathe in a minute is your respiratory rate.

This is also an easy way to know the respiratory rate

According to Dr. Manoj Sharma, senior doctor at Meador Hospital, any normal respiratory rate (respiratory rate) is considered to be between 12 and 16. Even if the respiratory rate is between 16 and 28, there is nothing to worry too much. It is necessary to show the doctor if there is more than 28 respiratory rate (respiratory rate). He said that it is a very easy way to know the respiratory rate in the house. For this you place a hand clock on the stomach of the patient and see how many times the stomach is going up and down in a minute. Coming up and down will be counted as one. According to Dr. Manoj Sharma, since there is a movement in the stomach along with the breath, the patient's respiratory rate (respiratory rate) can be easily estimated through the stomach.

Health minister's formula will not apply to these

According to Dr. Manoj Sharma, this formula will only apply to young patients who do not have other diseases like heart, blood pressure, sugar. If you are corona positive and are also suffering from other disease, it is important to consult your doctor. Likewise, this formula may not apply to the elderly as well. The health parameters of the elderly constantly change rapidly, so we need to be very careful. There are also many elderly people in Delhi who live alone at home. Better care of such elderly people is possible only in the hospital.
