Yoga volunteers waiting for appointment for 6 months

Despite being issued a letter to Yoga Volunteers for adjustment from Sports Department to AYUSH Department, 31 Yoga volunteers have not been admitted to AYUSH Department for the last 6 months. On Tuesday, all yoga volunteers in the district sent a letter of demand to the Chief Minister through the Additional Deputy Commissioner under the leadership of District President Gajanand and Anju Lohan.

 

District head Gajanand said that on 30 November 2019, a letter was issued from the Sports Department regarding the adjustment of 31 Yoga Volunteers to the District Ayush Department. But till date, yoga volunteers have not been joined in the AYUSH department. District heads Gajanand, Anju Lohan, Kavita Ahlawat, Mandeep Goyat, Mandeep Bhardwaj, Mohan Sharma, Manisha, Kuldeep Mundhal etc. were present there.

The Haryana School Lecturers Association (Hassala) has written a letter to Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Education Minister Kanwar Pal, suggesting that the science examination of 10th should be made compulsory for all students. Hasla has urged the board to reconsider its hasty decision. The organization has also sent some other suggestions to the government along with the letter. The Haryana School Education Board had recently announced that the science examination of class 10 is to be given only to those students who want to take the ad faculty in the 11th. Students taking the Faculty of Commerce and Arts will be declared the result on an average basis for the science examination. Hasla termed this decision of the board as completely impractical and discouraging the study of science. State head of the association Dayanand Dalal and district head Atar Singh Malik jointly informed that the hasty decision of the board is a step to discourage science studies and scientific outlook in the state.

ML Sehgal said that BJP leaders are indulging in hooliganism with officers and employees at every level. CPI leader Comrade Roop Singh has said that the Rs 20 lakh package announced by the Modi government is nothing but a display of fraudulent art.

Through the demonstration, a memorandum of demands was submitted to SDM Badkhal in the name of His Excellency the President of the country. Workers of both parties gathered in NIT as per pre-determined schedule. The protesters were jointly led by CPM district secretary Shivprasad and CPI district secretary Bechu Giri. On this occasion, CPM District Committee member Parashar, Vijay Jha, Lalbabu Sharma, Virender Pal and CPI District Committee Member R.N. Singh, Vishambhar Singh, Comrade Mithilesh were also present.
