Actress Rhea Chakraborty arrested in a drug case got bail from the Bombay High Court. The court said - Rhea will have to submit a passport after release from jail. They will not be able to travel abroad without the permission of the court. If she goes out of Greater Mumbai, then she will have to inform the investigating officer before this. Also, your attendance has to be registered in the police station for 10 days.

 

 

Earlier, the sessions court on Tuesday extended Rhea's judicial custody for 14 days and till October 20. Rhea, who has been in jail for a month, appealed to the High Court after the petition was dismissed twice from the lower court. On Wednesday, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail on a bond of one lakh with certain conditions. However, Rhea's brother showik will have to remain in jail for the time being.

 

 

Abdul Basit's bail plea rejected

 

 

Rhea was arrested on September 8 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug connection that surfaced in connection with the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He is kept in Byculla Jail. Rhea will be released from jail as soon as the jail administration gets the bail orders. At the same time, Samiul Miranda and Deepesh Sawant have also been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. While Abdul Basit's bail plea has been dismissed.

 

 

NCB claims - active member of Ria Drugs Syndicate

The NCB had stated in the affidavit in the court that Rhea and showik are active members of the drugs syndicate. And many high societies are associated with people and drug suppliers. Section 27A has been imposed on both, so they should not get bail. Rhea confesses to buying drugs. He supposedly asked Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant, and showik to buy drugs.

 

 

Rhea promotes Sushant's drug addiction: NCB

 

 

The NCB claimed that in looking at the entire cast of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, it was revealed that Rhea knew that Sushant used to consume drugs and during this time he was not only encouraged to do so but he was also encouraged to do so The matter was also hidden. '

 

 

'Criminal conspiracy against Sushant'

The NCB opposed Rhea's bail plea, claiming Rhea to be a vicious criminal and said that there was a lot of evidence against her which showed that she was involved in trafficking drugs. The NCB has made it clear that under a criminal conspiracy, Rhea supported the other accused of drug dealing, encouraged them to do so, and also helped them with money.

 

 

Rhea agreed- Miranda and Sawant were given drug money

In an affidavit filed in the Bombay High Court by NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, Rhea stated in a statement that he had paid drug money to Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant, which was later paid to Sushant. It is clear that the drugs for which the money was paid were not for personal use but to supply them to someone else and this is under Section 27A of NDPS 1985.

 

 

If Rhea is left, the evidence will be destroyed: NCB

The NCB also said in an affidavit that the investigation is at a critical stage and if Rhea gets bail at the moment, it will hamper the investigation. The NCB also said that Rhea has been involved in drug trafficking, with much evidence to prove that. She not only helped in the delivery of drugs but also paid them through credit cards, cash, and many other such means.

 

 

Rhea's lawyer argued- Sushant used to take drugs beforehand.

At the same time, Actress's lawyer Satish Manashinde had said in the court that he used to take drugs before Rhea came into Sushant's life. Sushant was addicted to drugs. 3 actresses have said this thing. Like Rhea, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan have also said that Sushant used to take drugs before 2019.
