SS Rajamouli's film RRR is running at full speed at the box office and is living up to the expectations of the trade from the film. The Hindi version of the film has crossed the 100 crore mark on the fifth day of its release. It took RRR just five days to reach here. RRR has become the fastest film to release in the first quarter of 2022.
RRR was also released in Hindi along with Telugu and other South Indian languages on 25 March. According to trade reports, RRR has done a business of around 15 crores on Tuesday, with which the film has crossed 100 crores. However, the final figures are yet to come. Earlier till Monday, the film had collected 91.50 crores, and to do 100 crores it needed only 8.50 crores.
RRR fastest film of the year to reach 100 crores
RRR is the fastest film of the year 2022 to reach 100 crores. Earlier Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files have crossed the 100 crore mark. Gangubai Kathiawadi is the first film to cross 100 crores, but it took 13 days. The second film, The Kashmir Files, took eight days to cross the 100 crore mark. If compared to Rajamouli's previous film Baahubali 2- The Conclusion, RRR is a bit behind. Bahubali 2 crossed the 100 crore mark in the opening weekend itself.
RRR is the second South Indian film after Allu Arjan's Pushpa, which has attracted audiences to such a level even in the Hindi belt. In the case of the worldwide gross collection also, RRR is showing amazing. The film, which has collected a gross of 500 crores in three days of release, is now very close to 600 crores.
