The intelligence of Ukraine believes that Mohjar-6 contains components from more than 30 different technology companies based in North America, the European Union, Japan, and Taiwan. To reach their conclusions, journalists also looked at parts of a Mojar-6 drone that was shot down by the Ukrainian military near the coastal city of Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region over the Black Sea.

Dr. Siddhartha Kaushal, a research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), said there was similar evidence that Shhed-136, a drone commonly used by Russia in Ukraine, was fitted with parts from Western countries. "If you look, for example, the engine that powers it is a combination of Chinese engines, and for more critical missions, you can swap it out for a Taiwanese or German engine," he explained. Kaushal pointed out that Iran has become increasingly proficient in designing military drones in recent years and Russia has also purchased drones from there in recent times.
