Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for an independent investigation into the civilian killings in Buka. Guterres tweeted about the incident, "I am deeply shocked by the pictures of civilians killed in Bucha, Ukraine. He said it is imperative that an independent inquiry be conducted, whose effective accountability is fixed.

He said that the Ukrainian government is provoking the world by posting videos and pictures of dead bodies. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called the incident a genocide.
