According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur in Northeast Bihar and Interior Tamil Nadu. At the same time, there is a possibility of slight relief to the people due to increase in maximum temperature and heat wave in Jharkhand for the last several days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave in Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Vidarbha and Gujarat. Apart from this, heat wave conditions will prevail in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and Madhya Pradesh during April 6.

Heat wave conditions are likely in many areas of North India including Bihar, UP, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Himachal Pradesh. The mercury will also go up in Vidarbha and Gujarat. Heat wave conditions will prevail over Southwest Uttar Pradesh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Telangana. According to the Meteorological Department, Patna, there is a possibility of light rain and drizzle with partly cloudy sky in the northeast parts of Bihar today. Heat wave conditions are also likely in Gaya, Aurangabad and Sasaram due to higher temperatures.

Heat wave conditions will prevail in Kota, Barmer, Vanasthali, Pilani, Sikar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Churu.

 

Heavy rain and thunderstorms in these states

 

According to the Meteorological Department, strong southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will cause heavy rain and thunderstorms over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next five days. Today, heavy rain has been predicted in the northern areas of West Bengal and Sikkim. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya will also see heavy rains on April 5. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka during the next 5 days.
