Russia has imposed sanctions on 61 US citizens. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia on Monday. The Foreign Ministry said that this decision is a response to the sanctions imposed by the US. This list includes the names of American executives and former and top managers of large American companies. Among them are Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield, and Netflix CEO Reed Hastings.

Russia had warned America

Former President Dmitry Medvedev, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin's confidants, said, 'God forbid, but if these weapons are used against Russian territories, then our military has the right to attack decision-making centers in this war'. There will be no other option but to do so. Indirectly he has said this about America. He said, 'Of course, this thing should be understood. Because unfortunately, the final decision-making center in this matter is not in Ukraine. Apart from this, he also accused NATO of proxy war.

Russia should not close its embassy in America

While insisting on continuing talks between the world's two major nuclear powers, the US has asked Russia to close its embassy. The US Embassy in Moscow issued a statement saying that Russia should not close its US embassy despite the bad conditions due to the war with Ukraine.

The US this week announced the delivery of the M142 high-mobility artillery rocket system to Ukraine. This artillery system will double the artillery range of the Ukrainian Army. It can be attacked up to an area of 80 km around. Although Ukraine had demanded Long-Range Rocket System from America, its demand was not accepted.
