At least 13 people have been killed and more than 20 injured in a shooting at a Russian school. It is being told that seven children are among the dead. According to the AP, there is an atmosphere of panic after the shooting in the city of Izhevsk. At the same time, the governor and the local police say that the shooter shot himself too. The school was immediately evacuated and the injured were admitted to the hospital.

The governor here, Alexander Breshalov, has said that a police team is present at the school. A similar incident happened in East Moscow last year as well. Here a 19-year-old man opened fire in which 9 people died. Seven children were among the dead. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, some children including a teacher have also died. However, the age of the children who died is not known. According to the police, there was no guard in the school when the attack took place. Cases of such shootings keep coming up frequently in America as well. Due to the relaxation in the rules of keeping guns, many times people have to pay the price by giving their lives.

Agencies say that the reason for this violence may be domestic conflict. Let us tell you that these days protests against power are intensifying in Russia. Since Putin announced mobilization amid the Ukraine war, large numbers of civilians have been leaving the country. There are also demonstrations in Russia. People say that Putin wants to throw them into an unnecessary war.
