Pavel Muravyko, a senior official in the Belarusian Security Council, said the situation on Belarus' southern border with Ukraine is not calm and that Kyiv is trying to provoke his country. Muraveko said that he is maintaining restraint and patience at this time and can respond to any threat from his side.
Belarus will not join the war

Emergency workers reported that they heard people screaming for help under the pile of rubble from the apartment block, after which they tried to rescue them.
