Police are continuously investigating the case of firing outside the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai. Police on Tuesday arrested the fifth accused in the firing case. This member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been arrested in Rajasthan. The accused is accused of providing money to the shooters. The name of the accused is Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary. An officer associated with the case said that the interrogation of the accused is ongoing.
The official said that accused Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary said in a meeting with the shooters that Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, had given him a bigger job than him. He said that the fifth accused was arrested from Bansi village of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. He said that the accused was produced in a Mumbai court, from where he has been sent to police custody. Mohammad Rafiq's name came up during the interrogation of other accused and the examination of their mobile phones.
Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary's family members live in Mumbai and do dairy business. The officer said that the accused had direct contact with Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara. He used to work at a dairy with his family in South Mumbai. The dairy business was closed during the Corona epidemic. After this, he came in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. He was included in the gang by Anmol Bishnoi. After joining the gang, he mostly lived in his hometown.
