Sawan 2025: On the first day of Sawan, devotees gathered at Vishwanath Dham, flowers were showered on the devotees; Har-Har Mahadev resonated

On the first day of Sawan, on Friday, there was a rush of devotees in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Baba's darshan started with Mangala Aarti and the entire Dham echoed with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev. Divisional Commissioner and the CEO of the temple and others showered flowers on the devotees. During this, the devotees danced with joy.

 

The first day of Shravan month was started with the Mangala Aarti of Lord Vishwanath. After Mangala Aarti, this year, on the initiative of Divisional Commissioner S Rajlingam, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Temple Trust, the devotees were welcomed by showering flowers on them.

In the Dham premises, devotees were welcomed along with the peak worship by showering flowers on the devotees in front of the three peaks of Baba Vishwanath, Lord Dandapani, and Lord Baikuntheshwar situated in the middle.

 

After this, the Kashi tradition of Hari-Har was carried forward by showering flowers on the devotees from the main sanctum sanctorum to the Lord Badrinarayan temple situated in the temple premises. These flowers will be given to the devotees throughout the day along with the Akshat Prasad of Maa Annapurna as a welcome gift on the first day of Sawan.

 

After the Mangala Aarti, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Temple Trust, Divisional Commissioner S. Rajlingam, Chief Executive Officer Vishwa Bhushan, Deputy Collector Shambhu Sharan, Tehsildar Mini L. Shekhar were present to welcome the devotees.
