The most shocking information has come to light in the Shraddha murder case on Wednesday. Shraddha had complained about Aftab's violent behavior to the Mumbai Police two years back. It is being claimed in media reports that Shraddha had written a letter to the Palghar Police in Mumbai on 23 November 2020. She had told the police that her live-in partner Aftab used to beat her. "My name is Shraddha Walker and I am 25 years old. I want to report Aftab Amin Poonawalla, 26 years old. He lives in Regal Apartment, Vijay Nagar Complex. He abuses and beats me. Today he strangulated me. Tried to kill me. He threatened and blackmailed me that he will kill me and throw me into pieces. He has been beating me for 6 months but I didn't dare to report him to the police Pai, because he was threatening to kill me.

Aftab's family members also know that he used to beat me and even tried to kill me. His family knows that we live together and they also come to visit on weekends. I live with her till today, because we are going to get married soon and her family has also agreed. I don't want to be with him anymore."

Delhi Police went to Mumbai on Wednesday and recorded the statements of Shraddha's family members. Questions have been asked about Shraddha and Aftab's relationship.

Aftab's polygraphy test started in Rohini Forensic Lab on Tuesday. This process will last for about a week.

Delhi Police recorded statements of Aftab's three friends at the Vasai Crime Branch of Palghar district in Maharashtra. Delhi Police has so far recorded statements of 17 people.

Another piece of evidence: Delhi Police has found important evidence from the tiles of Aftab's bathroom. Forensic experts have obtained this evidence. What are the proofs, it has not been told yet? Claim- Aftab confessed to the crime in court, the lawyer denied

Legal news website Bar & Bench and some other media reports have claimed that Aftab has confessed to the murder in court. Told the judge that he murdered Shraddha out of provocation and anger. Also said that I have told everything to the police. Now it is difficult to remember the incident.

About an hour after these reports surfaced, Aftab's lawyer Avinash Kumar termed the murder confession as a rumour. He said on camera – Aftab has not given any such confession.
