Sidhu Moosewala: Father of main accused Lawrence Bishnoi reaches Supreme Court, challenges Punjab to grant transit remand

The father of Lawrence Bishnoi, the main accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In this petition, he has challenged the grant of transit remand to the Punjab Police. At the same time, he has complained that he is not getting legal aid.

 

The Supreme Court has said that the Punjab Police should investigate the matter as the murder took place there. The court said that Bishnoi should approach the High Court and he would also get a lawyer for legal aid. The Supreme Court will hear this petition in detail on July 11.

Clean chit to Mankirat Aulakh

 

Punjab Police has given a clean chit to singer Mankirat Aulakh in the Sidhu Moose wala murder case. According to the police, they did not find any evidence against Aulakh during the investigation of the case. Singer Aulakh was being accused of giving information about Punjabi singers to gangsters. Sidhu Moosewala was assassinated on 29 May by firing bullets. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the murder. After this, on behalf of gangster Davinder Bambiha Group, it was said that singer Mankirat Aulakh is involved in the murder of Moosewala. After this, pictures of Lawrence Bishnoi and Mankirat Aulakh were posted on social media claiming that both are special friends. In one such picture, both are seen standing with their hands on each other's shoulders.
