External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will leave on Thursday on a two-day visit to the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. He will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers' Conference here. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and their Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto are also expected to attend the meeting. This will be the first time that Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto and S Jaishankar will be face to face.
It is believed that Jaishankar may also hold a bilateral meeting of the SCO member states with their Chinese and Russian counterparts.
