Mumbai police reached Raipur today in the case. Faizan will be presented in court at 11 am on Tuesday with transit remand for arrest. Earlier, the accused said that he would go to Mumbai to record his statement at Banda police station. At the same time, the accused was constantly receiving threats. Due to this, he wrote an application to the Mumbai Police Commissioner that he wanted to appear online and not in person.

Police have registered a complaint under sections 308 4, 351 3 4 of BNS. In the initial investigation by Mumbai Police, it is known that the mobile number from which the call was made belonged to a person named Faizan from Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
