On Tuesday, there was chaos for about 90 minutes, the farmers had gone from the scheduled route of their tractor parade to reach this historic monument. There he was also seen placing his flag on the flag on which the Prime Minister hoists the national flag on Independence Day. After much effort, the police removed the protesting farmers from the Red Fort complex.

 

It may be noted that the central government is introducing three new agricultural laws passed in September as major reforms in the agriculture sector, while the farmers who are protesting have expressed fears that the new laws will end the MSP (minimum support price) and mandi system And they will become dependent on big corporates.
