Less than 200 infected were found everywhere except 7 states, for the third consecutive day when more patients were cured than new cases in the country.

In the last 24 hours, more than 400 cases have been reported in Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Gujarat, and West Bengal. In all other states, this figure has been less than this. On Wednesday, a total of 11,556 new infections were found in the country, 14,261 were cured and 123 lost their lives. This was the third consecutive day that the number of patients recovering was higher than the newly infected.

 

So far, 1.07 crore cases have been reported in the country. Out of these 1.03 crore patients have been cured, 1.53 lakh have lost their lives from this epidemic, while 1.70 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.

 

India will gift 5 lakh doses to Sri Lanka

 

India has started sending vaccine help to the world struggling with Corona. After countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India will now gift 5 lakh doses of Corona Vaccine Coveshield to Sri Lanka. The consignment will reach Colombo on Thursday. India is sending the vaccine under its campaign 'Vaccine Friendship'.

 

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was in Sri Lanka from 5-7 January. During this time, Sri Lanka asked him for an emergency delivery of the Corona vaccine. India has taken this decision on the same demand.

 

Corona updates

 

The Gujarat government has announced the opening of schools from 1 February to 9-12th.

 

 Education minister Bhupendra Singh gave this information on Wednesday. He informed that the Covid-19 protocol has to be followed in schools.

 

According to a study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India is impacting the new variants of Corona found in the biotech Covaxin UK. It is fully capable of neutralizing infection.

 

As per the cabinet decision in Himachal Pradesh, all government schools opened on Wednesday. However, today only teachers arrive at the school, while children will come to school from 1 February.

 

Thousands of patients of Corona in Chhattisgarh have been left in government files. In the 10 months from the first case of infection in March to January, 6 thousand coronas are missing from infected files. On the instructions of Health Minister TS Singhdev, now they have been able to find them. TS Singhdev has said, the Health Department will now correct the figures.

 

State of 5 states

 

1. Delhi

 

On Wednesday, 96 people were found corona infected. This figure is the lowest in the last 9 months. Earlier on 30 April 2020, 76 people were found infected. 212 people recovered and 9 died in the last 24 hours. So far 6 lakh 34 thousand 325 people have been infected. Of these, 6 lakh 21 thousand 995 people have been cured, while 10 thousand 829 have died. Currently, 1,501 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

2. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Wednesday, 185 people were found corona infected in the state. 345 people recovered and 6 died. So far, 2 lakh 54 thousand 270 people have been affected by the infection here. Of these, 2 lakh 47 thousand 418 people have been cured, while 3,799 patients have died. 3,053 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Gujarat

 

On Wednesday, 353 people were found corona infected in the state. 462 people recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 60 thousand 220 people have been affected by Corona. Of these, 2 lakh 51 thousand 962 people have been cured, while 4,382 patients have died. 3876 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Rajasthan

 

On Wednesday, 134 corona patients were found in the state. 305 people recovered and one died. So far, 3 lakh 17 thousand 104 people have been infected with corona here. Of these, 3 lakh 11 thousand 679 people have been cured, while 2,761 have died. There are currently 2,664 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Maharashtra

 

On Wednesday, 2,171 people were found corona infected in the state. 2,556 people were recovered and 32 died. So far, 20 lakh 15 thousand 524 people have been infected. Out of this 19 lakh 20 thousand 6 people have been cured. 50 thousand 894 patients have died. There are 43 thousand 393 patients who are undergoing treatment.
