Cold waves will run in these states
The Meteorological Department has said that cold wave conditions are likely in isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh and Odisha during the next 2 days. At the same time, there may be a slight increase in the minimum temperature in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
Strong winds will blow in MP
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for strong winds in some districts of Madhya Pradesh. The cold wave is expected in Umaria, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Sagar, Bhopal, and Rajgarh.

The department said that due to western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh today. Due to rain, an alert has also been issued for fishermen in the states of South India.

Apart from this, the possibility of snowfall has also been expressed in the higher areas of Uttarakhand. The department has issued an avalanche alert in some parts.
