Weather News: Avalanche alert was issued in Uttarakhand, Meteorological Department told that it will rain in these states of the country

The weather in the country is constantly changing. Sometimes it is suddenly getting cold, and sometimes the strong sun is making people feel hot. In many states including Delhi-NCR, UP, Bihar, and Rajasthan, strong cold winds have increased the difficulties of the people.

 

Cold waves will run in these states

The Meteorological Department has said that cold wave conditions are likely in isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh and Odisha during the next 2 days. At the same time, there may be a slight increase in the minimum temperature in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

Strong winds will blow in MP

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for strong winds in some districts of Madhya Pradesh. The cold wave is expected in Umaria, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Sagar, Bhopal, and Rajgarh.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in some states. The department said that due to western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh today. Whereas, light/moderate rains may occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands throughout this week. Due to rain, an alert has also been issued for fishermen in the states of South India.

 

Avalanche alert in Uttarakhand

Apart from this, the possibility of snowfall has also been expressed in the higher areas of Uttarakhand. The department has issued an avalanche alert in some parts.
