Third death in 3 days from corona in Chandigarh, 15 died in 31 days, 367 active cases, 64 new patients found

In Chandigarh, 3 people died due to the coronavirus in three days. A 59-year-old woman died on Tuesday. On Wednesday, a 22-year-old girl lost her life due to infection. At the same time, on Thursday, a 61-year-old resident of Sector-31 died of the corona. Corona infection has killed 15 people in the last month. In such a situation, Corona has started scaring once.

 

The person who died of the corona was undergoing treatment at GMCH-32. The elderly had received both doses of the Covid vaccine. However, the person had not yet administered the booster dose. The new cases of corona in the city have reduced but the process of death is not stopping. Since the beginning of Corona in Chandigarh, 1180 people have lost their lives due to the virus.

 

In the last 24 hours, 64 new corona positive cases have been registered in the city. Of these, 28 men and 36 women have come under the grip of the corona. The positivity rate was recorded at 3.86 percent. On the other hand, if we talk about the last week, on average 52 people have been infected with corona every day. At present, there are 367 active cases, most of them in home isolation. 80 patients have also recovered. In the last 24 hours, the Covid test of 1,659 people was done.
