Coronavirus Update: Corona cases continue to rise in the country, new cases cross 10 thousand

The process of increasing the cases of Coronavirus in the country is going on once again. In the last 24 hours, more than 10 thousand new cases have been registered across the country.

 

According to the Health Ministry, 10,725 new cases have been reported on Thursday. Whereas on the last day i.e. 24 August, 10,649 cases were reported. With this, the total number of cases has increased to 4,43,78,920 and active cases have come down to 94,047.

The death toll crosses 5,27,488

 

The Health Ministry said in its statement that 36 patients have died due to corona infection in the last 24 hours in the country, after which the total number of dead has increased to 5,27,488. He said that the maximum number of deaths occurred in Delhi in the last 24 hours. 6 patients died in the national capital, after which the total number of dead here has increased to 26,442.

According to the report, at present, the activity rate is 0.21 percent and the recovery rate is 98.60 percent. He said that in the last 24 hours, 2,395 patients have been cured of corona infection, after which the number of people recovering from corona has increased to 4,37,57,385.

 

More than four crore people were infected

 

Let us inform you that for the first time after the havoc of the Corona epidemic in the country, corona cases crossed the 20 lakh mark on 7 August 2020. After this, the figure of 30 lakhs was reached on 23 August 2020, 40 lakhs on 5th September 2020, and 50 lakhs on 16th September.

 

Similarly, on December 19, due to the continuous increase in corona cases across the country, the total number of cases had crossed 1 crore. At the same time, on May 4 last year, it had become 2 crores and on June 23, it had become three crores. In this year (2022), on January 25, the figure of Corona had crossed four crores.
