Traffic Update: Many kilometers long heavy jam on Delhi-Gurugram and Noida border, police advice - avoid these roads

Posted on 20th Jun 2022 11:43 am by rohit kumar

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will once again appear before the Enforcement Directorate on Monday. In this regard, Delhi Police has made special arrangements for traffic in the city. Police tweeted and told which roads will be open today and on which movement will be closed. The traffic police have appealed to the people to leave the house only after seeing the route so that they can avoid unnecessary trouble.

Delhi Traffic Police said that avoid going on Motilal Nehru Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath and Man Singh Road from 8 am to 12 noon on Monday. Due to the special traffic arrangements, movement on these roads will not be possible. Apart from this, there will be more traffic at Gol Methi Junction, Tughlaq Road, Q Point Junction, Maulana Azad Road Junction, Man Singh Road Junction, and Claridge Junction from 8 am to 12 noon due to special arrangements.

At the same time, there will be no movement of buses at Gol Dak Khana Junction, Patel Chowk, Windsor Place, Teen Murti Chowk, and Prithviraj Road.

Heavy traffic jam in Gurugram

On the other hand, barricades have been put up by the Delhi Police at the Kapaseda border. Because of the protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, oncoming vehicles are being checked. Police want to know whether any message is entering Delhi city through the Haryana route. Gurgaon Traffic Police has already issued an advisory for heavy vehicles. Vehicles coming from the Jaipur side are being removed through the PMT route.

Around 9 am, Gurugram Police tweeted and informed us that there has been a huge jam near Sarhol Toll on National Highway 24. It has also become difficult for the vehicles to move from their place. Four-wheelers are crawling. After reaching there, the policemen are engaged in clearing the vehicles from the jam.

Long traffic jams in Noida too

The traffic condition in Noida is also bad. There is a long traffic jam on the Noida-Delhi link road on the Chilla border amid a nationwide 'Bharat Bandh' call by some organizations in protest against the Agneepath scheme. Due to this, the people of Noida are facing problems.
