Tesla CEO and world's richest businessman Elon Musk has bought Twitter. Due to the friendship of the new owner of Twitter, Musk, and Trump, it was expected that former US President Donald Trump may return to Twitter. In an interview given to Fox News, Trump said – I will remain on my social media platform Truth Social. Praising Tesla CEO, he said that Elon Musk is a good man, I hope he improves Twitter. However, I will stick to the truth.

promise to unlock twitter

Musk announced a few days ago that he would be unlocking Twitter. In such a situation, Trump's return was being speculated after Musk's Twitter purchase, but the former president has put an end to all these speculations.

Trump's account was suspended in 2020

After the Capitol Hill violence in 2020, Donald Trump had described his supporters as revolutionary on Twitter for violence. After this, he had said that he would not go to the Presidential Inaugural (Biden's swearing-in) on January 20, 2020. Taking action on this, Twitter suspended his account forever.

77 million Twitter users in the US

Social media is considered very influential in American politics. Twitter has 77 million active users in the US with a population of 330 million. When Trump's account was suspended, he had 8.87 million followers.

Musk and Biden have been at loggerheads

There are reports of a rift between US President Joe Biden and Elon Musk. Musk has even described him as a puppet. On the other hand, Biden's popularity has declined due to the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the Corona mismanagement.

There are presidential elections in the US in 2024. Trump is once again claiming to contest the election. In such a situation, if he had returned to Twitter, Biden could have faced a new challenge from the social media front.
