Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Medicine and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Wednesday that during the last 24 hours, 329 more people have been killed in the state of Covid-19 and with this, the number of people who died due to this virus has increased to 16372 in the state. Has been.

 

 

18125 new cases surfaced

Amit Mohan Prasad said that the Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in 18125 new patients in the state during the last 24 hours. After the arrival of new cases, so far 15 lakh 63 thousand 238 patients have been infected in the state. Out of these, 13 lakh 40 thousand 251 patients have also been cured.

 

 

Reduced cases

Prasad said that during the last 11 days, there has been a decrease of one lakh four thousand in the cases under treatment of Covid-19 infection in the state and at this time the percentage of recovering from this disease has been 85.7. He told that on April 30, there were three lakh 10 thousand sub-cases in the state, which has now come down to two lakh six thousand 615.

 

 

The constant investigation is being done

Additional Chief Secretary informed that more than two lakh 45 thousand samples have been tested in the state during the last 24 hours. So far, over four crore 36 lakh samples have been tested in the state.
