UP: public can get corona vaccine for free, CM Yogi can announce

Yogi government can give free corona vaccine gift to the people of UP on 22 February. The UP government can make some different provisions for this in the budget. Consultation was also done on this, but the Central Government's directions are yet to come.

 

Let us tell you that UP is the first state in the country in maximum corona testing. Till Thursday, a total of 3,00,37,025 samples in the state have been completed. Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that UP has set a record in the country by getting a figure of three crore in the case of sample investigation. He said that a total of 1,20,384 samples were examined in the last 24 hours in the state.

 

There have been 81 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours. At the same time, out of 2,587 corona active cases in the state, 692 people are in home isolation while 211 people are undergoing treatment in private hospitals. Apart from this, patients are getting treatment in government hospitals of L-2 and L-3. It was also informed that the recovery of Covid-19 in the state is more than 98.12 percent. In the last 24 hours, 181 people and so far, 5,91,194 people have recovered and discharged from Covid-19.

 

Mr. Prasad told that today, on February 18, the vaccine dose has been put on the front-line personnel. Giving vaccinated health workers another chance, the work of applying vaccination will be done on February 19 tomorrow. At the same time, on 22 February, the work of applying vaccines to the front line personnel will also be done. Mr. Prasad informed that Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to undertake vaccination of more than 10 lakh health workers and front-line workers. He informed that through the 'Mera Covid Kendra' app, the user can get the information of Covid-19 Testing Center located within a radius of 05 km and the result of the investigation can be known through smartphone on the DG MHUP website.
