UPPSC UP PCS Prelims Result 2023 Out: UPPSC PCS preliminary exam result released, 4047 qualified

UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2023 Out: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) soon declared the result of the UP PCS Prelims 2023 exam. Candidates who appeared in the UP PCS preliminary exam can check their UP PCS Prelims Result 2023 through the commission's website uppsc.up.nic.in.

 

The UPPSC PCS preliminary exam was held on May 14, 2023, in which 3,45,022 lakh candidates appeared for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services exam against the registered 5,65,459 candidates. Of these, only 4,047 candidates have qualified.

UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam at a Glance

According to officials, the preliminary examination for recruitment to 173 posts of PCS was conducted in two shifts in 1241 centers in 51 districts of the state. 5,65,459 candidates had applied for the exam, out of which 3,41,392 candidates i.e. 60.37 percent only appeared in the exam. The duration of the exam was two hours, the first session from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second session from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The recruitment exam was conducted at various exam centers in Uttar Pradesh.

Deputy Registrar, Assistant Labor Commissioner, Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade 11), Technical Assistant (Geology), Law Officer, Technical Assistant (Geophysics), Tax Assessment Officer, GDE Superintendent of Police, Jail Superintendent, District Commandant Home Guard The exam is being conducted for a total of 254 vacancies for various posts including, Excise Inspector and Sub Jailor.

UPPSC PCS main exam proposed from 23 September

In the calendar of UPPSC, the main examination of PCS-2023 is proposed for September 23, 2023. Only the successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be able to appear in the main examination.
