US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to India next week to attend the G20 Foreign Ministers' meeting. During this, he will meet senior Indian officials. India took over the presidency of the G20 on 1 December last year.

On March 1, State Department spokesman Ned Price said, “On March 1, Blinken will travel to New Delhi to participate in the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which seeks to strengthen multilateralism and promote food and energy security, sustainable development, gender equality, Will focus on deepening cooperation on women's empowerment, anti-drugs, global health, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief.
"He (Blinken) will meet with Indian government officials and civil society to reaffirm our strong partnership," Price said.

The US Secretary of State will be in India till March 3. Blinken will reach India after he visits two Central Asian countries - Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan - starting on February 28.
