Weather Today: Light rain may occur again in the capital Delhi today, know how the weather will be in your state

In the capital Delhi and adjoining areas, the weather can again take a turn. Relief from scorching heat will continue on Friday as well. There will be some increase in the temperature, but the heat will not last. Partly Cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain in the afternoon or evening. Here, the heatwave is still mild. Delhi's maximum and minimum temperatures remained below normal on Thursday as well. The humidity level in the air was 90 to 36 percent. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the temperature of Delhi will not go above 40 degrees till Sunday. Delhi-NCR's air quality remained in the moderate to a poor category on Thursday as well. It won't change much for a day or two.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light or moderate rain in Northeast India during the next five days. At the same time, scattered rain with strong winds may occur in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal, and Sikkim during this time. Heavy rain may occur in Assam-Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura today.

Yellow alert in many districts of Uttarakhand

 

On Friday, the Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert regarding hailstorms, lightning, and gusty winds with thunder in the mountainous region of the Kumaon division of the state. Light to moderate rain is also expected in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, etc. districts in the afternoon or evening. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the plains. But the order of rain will continue in the hilly districts.

 

Weather will be clear in Himachal

 

The weather will remain clear in four plains districts of Himachal Pradesh namely Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Kangra on Friday. There is a possibility of rain in the central and high hill districts of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul-Spiti. The weather is forecast to remain bad in the entire state from 28 to 30 May. During this, a yellow alert of rain, rain, and hail has also been issued. On Thursday, the weather remained clear in all areas of the state including the capital Shimla.
