Weather took a turn: Drizzle rain in the capital Delhi amid summer, dust storm in many parts of UP-Rajasthan

Amidst the havoc of the heatwave in many parts of the country, there has been a sudden change in the weather patterns in Haryana-Rajasthan including Delhi-NCR. Light rain has also occurred in Delhi late at night with thunderstorms. At the same time, there is a possibility of a drop in temperature in many areas of Haryana and Rajasthan.

 

According to IMD, there has been a change in the weather due to the North-South Trough in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there may be light rain and thundershowers in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana, and West UP in the next few hours.

Dust storm in West UP at night

 

Dust storms also lashed Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, and adjoining districts. In Meerut, there was darkness in Ganganagar, Mawana Road, Shastri Nagar, and many parts of the city due to power failure. There was darkness in the night on Bijli Bamba bypass too. There was a power outage in different parts of the city during the night. Dr. Shamim, Senior Scientist of the Meteorological Department says that there will be a change in the weather for the next 24 hours. The temperature has dropped due to sudden strong winds at the night.

 

Heatwave alert in Bihar-Jharkhand

 

Here, a heatwave alert has been issued in Bihar-Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding heatwaves in 14 districts of Bihar, while a heatwave alert has been issued in 8 districts of Jharkhand. The department says that till Thursday, people can get relief from the heat here.
