Yellow alert issued in UP
In UP too, the cold has started showing its wrath. A drop of two degrees has been recorded in the temperature of the capital Lucknow. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the coming week.
Chances of rain in Uttarakhand
The cold is wreaking havoc in the hill state of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall and rain in the higher areas. Holiday declared in Delhi schools
Because of the cold in Delhi, the government has taken an important decision. The state government has declared a holiday in schools from January 1 to January 15. Education Department informed that keeping in view the increasing cold, all government schools will remain closed for winter vacations from January 1-15.
