The month of December is nearing its end, while the cold in North India is not taking its name. The outbreak of colds is increasing in many states. Apart from this, the smog has also increased the difficulties for the people passing through the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of getting relief from the cold in the coming days. Dense fog has also been predicted in the next few days. Dense fog enveloped many states like Delhi, UP, Bihar, Punjab, and Haryana. Let us tell you what is the condition of the weather in different parts of the country.

 

Mercury will drop in Delhi

According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to fall in the country's capital Delhi. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted fog. The maximum and minimum temperature in the capital is expected to be 20 and 6 degree Celsius respectively.

 

Yellow alert issued in UP

In UP too, the cold has started showing its wrath. A drop of two degrees has been recorded in the temperature of the capital Lucknow. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the coming week.

 

Chances of rain in Uttarakhand

The cold is wreaking havoc in the hill state of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall and rain in the higher areas. There is no relief from the cold in Uttarakhand in the next few days. On the other hand, the fog in the plains has also increased the difficulties of the people.

 

 

Holiday declared in Delhi schools

Because of the cold in Delhi, the government has taken an important decision. The state government has declared a holiday in schools from January 1 to January 15. Education Department informed that keeping in view the increasing cold, all government schools will remain closed for winter vacations from January 1-15.
