Weather Updates: Outbreak of cold wave continues in North India including Delhi NCR, many states in fog cover

There is no hope of respite from the severe cold in the states of North India including Delhi NCR. Also, there is no going to get rid of the fog. The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog conditions to continue in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh including Delhi NCR for Thursday. Because of this, fog is expected at these places on Thursday as well. Dense to very dense fog conditions are likely to continue over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh, the Meteorological Department said. Along with this, a light wind is expected, due to which Kankani may increase.

 

Speed of trains, buses, and planes affected

Please tell us that due to sudden changes in the weather and dense fog, the speed of trains, buses, and planes has been affected. Due to low visibility due to fog for the last two-three days, trains are running late by hours. At the same time, the operation of roadways buses has come to a standstill at the night. Landing and takeoff of planes are disrupted even during the day. Because of the railway fog, more than one and a half dozen trains have already been canceled, yet the train running on many routes on Wednesday is running late by several hours.

Accidents increased due to bad weather

Due to dense fog in the morning, road accidents have also started increasing.
