Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called Mukul Roy, BJP's national vice president and party's chief leader in Bengal, to inquire about his wife's health. According to sources, PM Modi called Roy at 10 am on Thursday and during this time inquired about the health of his wife infected with Corona. The PM talked for a minute or two and also assured all possible help.

Krishna Roy is admitted in critical condition at a private hospital located at EM Bypass, Kolkata. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee had reached the hospital on Wednesday to meet his ailing wife amid the flurry of Mukul Roy's return to the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). Since then, once again in the political circles, the market of rumors about Mukul is hot.

After Abhishek, Dilip Ghosh also reached the hospital

At the same time, a few hours after Abhishek Banerjee reached the hospital, state BJP President Dilip Ghosh also reached the hospital to know about the well-being of Mukul's wife Krishna Roy. Sources say that Mukul Roy was not present when TMC leader Abhishek reached the hospital as he was at home due to a Covid-19 infection, but his son Shubharanshu was present there at that time and a conversation took place between the two.

Recently, Mukul Roy's son had raised questions about the party.

Let us tell you that former TMC MLA and currently BJP leader Shubhranshu had recently supported TMC in a dispute between the central and state government in a post on internet media. Since then, there are speculations that Mukul Roy and his son Shubhranshu will return to TMC. This speculation has been denied by neither Mukul nor his son. Meanwhile, before the assembly elections in the state, many leaders from TMC to BJP have now pleaded for a return after the election results.
