Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference on Tuesday and targeted the Uddhav government over the 'recovery scandal'. He has said that many serious things have come to light in the Antilia case. Fadnavis has also indirectly targeted NCP Chief Sharad Pawar for defending Anil Deshmukh. He said that the evidence which Sharad Pawar had shown in favor of Deshmukh has now started to be questioned. Fadnavis also said that the names of several senior police officers have come up in this whole case. He said that he would go to Delhi today and demand the Home Secretary to conduct a CBI inquiry into the matter.
The former CM said that even though NCP Chief Sharad Pawar had shown the hospital form on Monday in defense of Maharashtra Home Minister and his party leader Anil Deshmukh, questions have started to be raised on his 'evidence'. Initially, the talk of Anil Deshmukh's press conference was revealed on February 15, but on this, the Home Minister himself had come out and said that I had spoken out of the hospital. But the controversy did not stop and his air ticket started going viral, according to which he traveled from Nagpur to Mumbai on a chartered plane. Now BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has made serious allegations against him and has also targeted Sharad Pawar. Devendra Fadnavis says that Anil Deshmukh traveled from Nagpur to Mumbai on February 15 on a chartered plane.
Apart from this, Anil Deshmukh was also not in home isolation from 16 to 27 February. Devendra Fadnavis said that I also have full data in the pen drive, which is 3.6 GB. Devendra Fadnavis said that he would demand a probe from the CBI in the entire matter and would go to Delhi and meet the Home Secretary in this regard.
However, Fadnavis did not directly target Sharad Pawar but said that he was misinformed by the NCP and misinformed. He said, according to the VIP movement records held by the police, Anil Deshmukh went to the Sambhairi guest house on February 17 and the ministry on February 24. He was in the home quarantine from 15 to 27 February and met with officials, he was not in isolation. I think Pawar saheb was given the wrong information. '
Apart from this, the former Chief Minister said that the names of some more senior police officers have come up in this case. Therefore, the entire matter should be made known to the CBI.
Transfer-posting racket also raised
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has sought time to meet the Home Secretary in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. During this time he will hand over some call recordings and documents related to the transfer-posting racket of IPS-non-IPS officers.
RPI leader Ramda Athawale also demanded a CBI inquiry
RPI leader Ramdas Athawale has also demanded a CBI inquiry. He said that Sharad Pawar should take Deshmukh's resignation immediately. Uddhav Thackeray should not keep such a home minister in his cabinet.
