During the Ukraine-Russia war, the Government of India has constituted a group of ministries under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance. This group is working to solve the challenges coming in a trade with Russia. This information was given by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Parliament. The English newspaper The Hindu has given a prominent place to this news.

The foreign minister's statement indicates that the government is taking major steps to maintain India's trade ties with Russia, which is facing sanctions from more than 40 countries.

Many questions were asked in the Rajya Sabha regarding India's stand on Russia and Ukraine. Some of these raised concerns about India's abstention from voting at the United Nations, as well as Indian policy on trade and relations with the US. In response, S Jaishankar said that India's stand has been firm and clear and it is in favor of peace. He said foreign policy decisions are always taken in "national interest". He also said that the question of linking the situation in Ukraine with trade does not arise.

In response to a question, the External Affairs Minister said that India imports very little crude oil from Russia, which is less than one percent, and many countries import 20 times more oil from Russia than India. He said that India is looking into many aspects including payments keeping Russia-Ukraine in mind and for this, a group has also been formed by merging several ministries.

US President Joe Biden recently said that India's stand on sanctions is "somewhat unstable", a question was also asked in the Rajya Sabha. It was also asked whether there would be any negative impact on relations with India's closest ally.

In response to these questions, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said, "India's foreign policy decisions are taken in the interest of the nation. We are guided by our thinking, thoughts, and interests. Therefore, there is no question of linking the situation in Ukraine with trade issues.

During this, the External Affairs Minister also told that between 24 February and 7 March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin thrice and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky twice, and the Prime Minister has asked to return to the talks and discuss with both the Presidents. Direct dialogue between

The Hindu has written about this news that the statement of the External Affairs Minister has come at a time when some countries have sent their delegations to India so that India considers changing its voting position on Russia in the United Nations. At the same time, some countries are wanting that India should limit the purchase of oil from Russia.

Chinese Foreign Minister arrives in Delhi amid controversy over Kashmir statement

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has arrived in India amid a standoff in eastern Ladakh and a dispute over remarks on Kashmir. But no official comment has come out from both the countries regarding this visit. The English newspaper The Telegraph has given place to this news.

The Telegraph quoted flight trackers as saying that Wang Yi has arrived in Delhi. The newspaper says that Wang Yi's flight reached Delhi before 8 pm. But after this, no picture has been shared by the Ministry of External Affairs regarding this tour. Also, no official announcement of the tour has been made.

Earlier, when the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman was asked whether the Foreign Minister would visit Afghanistan and India, he replied that if any information comes in this matter, it will be shared.

From Islamabad, the Foreign Minister of China reached Kabul, after which he has reached India.

The newspaper quoted an official on the condition of anonymity as saying that the Foreign Minister of China has reached India and will meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday.

India had given a blunt answer to the statement of the Foreign Minister of China

This visit is taking place at a time when India had responded to the Chinese Foreign Minister's remarks regarding Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OEIC) in Pakistan.

While speaking at the OIC conference, Wang Yi had said, "We are hearing the voices of many Islamic friends on the issue of Kashmir, China has the same desire for it."

In response, India's Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said in a statement issued on Twitter, "We condemn the unwanted mention of India in the speech made at the opening ceremony of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi."

India's statement said, "The matters relating to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are completely internal matters of India. No country in the world, including China, has any right to comment on these. They should note that India does not comment on the internal affairs of other countries.
